Advice for affiliate marketers.

I have had some time to think about this and the result of all that thinking is this.
In my time on the Internet I have come across many wonderful business opportunities and some that are just a whole lot of promises and not much else.
So this is the deal I am offering you today, if you want to know all about my experiences and learn from them, please read all I have to write about and keep coming back to check for my updates.

So here goes…….

Experience No. 1

Some paid to click and paid to read are not all they seem to be. I have spent countless hours clicking away and have not seen results. I will even include some traffic exchanges in this. Now I cannot reveal names of the offensive sites, I can however only offer this piece of advice,
if the offer seems too good to be true then it probably is.

Experience No. 2

Some of the Network marketing companies are getting people to sign up with misleading advertising and the poor affiliates, look you and me, who are only trying to make some extra cash are spending all their time and money advertising and promoting these opportunities without really knowing what they are doing.
I signed up dozens of them and then only found out two or three pages down the line what this “Wonderful, Free Opportunity” was going to cost me.

Now I know it takes money to make money, because money attracts money. They can at least tell you before you put your name down anywhere that there is some cost involved.
Please don’t get me wrong, there are some really great companies out there which are doing all they promise their affiliates and more and I belong to and promote those that I have found to be reliable myself.
I am just saying that if membership is free then so be it and don’t advertise as free and then after sign up discover that in order to go further you will have to pay membership fee, without which you do not have access to marketing tools and the like.

I think that all these opportunities should have a free trial period, during which prospective affiliates can see if that particular system or method works for them.
After all, we are all looking for something that we can do at home and have free time to do what we please. If marketing your opportunity, to make sales and earn commissions, is taking up most of your time and having to wade through tons of emails for a few credits, then shouldn’t we rather just keep the day job and keep the Internet just for fun.

A word of advice.

Find the opportunity that is right for you. Products and services that suit you and you can get excited about, or something that you are already passionate about. Most important of all is don’t let your family and friends put you down. Most of them wont even understand what you are doing or they will simply not be interested. Another thing I have to say at this point is once you find the opportunity that you are happy with, don’t leave after only a week or a month, stick it out for at least six months. Now you must common sense and wisdom and if its not working after 4 months and you have signed up a single prospect or make a sing commission then you should get out.
The last thing I want you to do is waste money on something that is not taking you anywhere.

I honestly hope you found this a little useful.
